Melissa G CohenMelissa Cohen was born and raised in Cecil County, Maryland, one of four children to Swanson and Judy Musick. Melissa spent much of her life attending Bay View Elementary School, North East Middle School and graduating from North East High School. She went on to attend West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. Graduating with a Bachelors of Science degree in Human Resources and Education she obtained a teaching certificate and began teaching at Cherry Hill Middle School. She then went on to teach seventh grade at Elkton Middle School. In addition to her career in real estate, Melissa has continued her love for educating children through home-schooling her own children and keeping close ties to through the Home/Hospital teaching program for homebound children.Melissa has also been very active in the community her entire life. She has been a dedicated Sunday school teacher, coordinated youth and family activities for the community and involved with organizations such as The Cecil County Pregnancy Center and Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child. She even tried her talents as a bass guitarist in her church's praise team. Melissa, along with her husband Jack, loves spending time with the family boating and hanging out at the beach where Jack is the pastor of Bethel United Methodist Church in Lewes, Delaware. With her love for people and families and familiarity with Cecil County, Melissa is a caring and compassionate realtor that will put your needs first!
